Two men and a 15-year-old teenage boy lost their lives in multiple shootings in Atlanta, Georgia. The incidents occurred on Saturday, January 15.
A shooting that occurred along Windsor Street at the Dunbar Neighborhood Center is the one that resulted in the 15-year-old boy losing his life. The incident occurred approximately around 3:35 p.m. The young boy had sustained a severe gunshot wound by the time officers were able to arrive at the scene. However, it was at Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to the police, another man, also a victim, was shot at the recreational center. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was, fortunately, able to survive. So far, authorities have not given any information as to who the suspect was or stated why they were at the Dunbar, to begin with.
Another victim, a man was shot to death at the beginning of the day a little before 2 a.m. According to the police, the incident occurred in the 100 block of Pine Street. In this case, as well, no details have been provided by the police on a suspect or why the shooting occurred.
A third shooting of a fatal nature took place approximately around 10 p.m. This shooting occurred at the 20th block of William Holmes Borders Senior Drive. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The multiple shootings in Atlanta are being investigated by the police.
